Jewelry Recycling Classes! Re-design your heirlooms for Spring 2012

Have fun re-designing your old jewelry in Bazant's unique jewelry classes
A pile of unworn costume jewelry is transformed into beautiful, unique, wearable pieces

A piece of jewelry can hold memories that can either sit in a jewelry box or be re-born as a beautiful, modern piece that can have a new use for yourself or as a gift. I take my budding designers through the jewelry making experience to create a personalized piece that will bring new life to old memories.
In this three hour workshop for a group of five to seven, I introduce the core principles of jewelry design. Each participant will be deconstructing and reconstructing an old piece of jewelry by using studio tools and basic wire techniques. Participants will take home one or more completed pieces, and should bring along their own costume jewelry to reconstruct, keeping in mind that beads, stones, chains or beaded jewelry are ideal. This is class for all levels and no previous experience is necessary. You'll be amazed at what you can create with a few pieces of old jewelry and your own two hands! Cost: $62 per person including HST.
