While riding the streetcar to the studio today I went back and forth between gazing out the window at the beautiful orangey-red Toronto autumn and reading the "Best of T.O" article in NOW magazine. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed every year when they come out with this list. It often includes a lot of big box stores and brand names that everyone already knows about. What about all the amazing indie biz? Well, I've decided to compile my own list of favorites that includes a few well known, but mostly not super famous things I appreciate about the city I live in.
