Creating jewelry from recycled magazines
In this three hour hands-on workshop you'll learn how to make three types of beads from recycling magazines, then apply basic wire work techniques to assemble the beads into your very own jewelry. Materials, tools, written instructions and source list are provided...all you need to bring are any old magazines or wrapping paper you have kicking around the house. You get to take home the jewelry you create. $52 per person +HST

Jewelry Reconstruction
Redesign your old, unworn costume jewelry into something beautiful, current and wearable! In this three hour workshop you will learn principles of design, deconstruction, and wire work techniques to assemble a brand new piece you'll be proud of. Materials, tools, written instructions and sources list are provided...all you need to bring are some old pieces of costume jewelry - beaded and/or chain pieces work best. You can even bring old coins! You get to take home the jewelry you create. $52 per person +HST
