Jessica and I are working hard on our new collections. We've also been slowly building up a lovely showroom. Until now I've kept the inside of studio #202 secret. Well it's time for the big reveal! In true eco-fashion, I acquired all of my furniture second hand.

I'm also extremely excited about beads I've recently sourced for my new collections. I mentioned in my
last entry that I sourced some fantastic beads from artisans in Grenada, Tobago, St. Thomas and Puerto Rico. Well here they are - organized into my system of small drawers

In addition to this I just stopped by the studio of fellow Beach Studio Tour artist
Gil Birol. She mentioned that she was interested in selling off her of recycled glass beads from the Aegean coast of Turkey because she no longer was using them. What a jackpot for me! I had been thinking about planning an overseas trip this year to source recycled glass beads, and now I am fully stocked! Gil also has some Turkish silver that I have my eye on....but I have to pace myself. :-)
